SECTION OF DRESS: Goldwork Lotus

A technical triumph and the heaviest embroidery on the Red Dress.

In 1998 Max Modesti founded Les Ateliers 2M in Paris, a design creation and development studio for fashion textiles - focusing on fashion, textile and embroidery design development and manufacturing for international luxury brands.

Max was introducd to Kirstie in 2010 and organised for one of his employees to create a piece of embroidery for the Red Dress. Alam is one of 7 men/boys to have worked on the dress, he created an exquisite lotus flower from various different gold threads and metal work.
